When we came home from the DC, as you know I was dead set on ordering that green Bible from LeBeau Bindery. Well, I had two reference Bibles because last year, I seriously thought I was binding a matched set and giving one of them as a wedding gift to a husband. I find that hard to believe about myself sometimes now. Stay here in the snowy state? I hate the climate here. I'm out of here in May of 2013. So, anyhow, I asked my daughters if they wanted their books/bibles bound, what colors, etc, and Carly says she wants that other "big" Bible for herself if I don't mind. She said she prefers that one but with the hard cover, it is not easy to look things up fast enough here at the Pennsylvania meetings. She doesn't have to explain to me what the logic of that is. People here generally talk faster, like they're getting paid by the word or something. My ears are sometimes tired of listening so hard.
So my girls are getting their songbooks/Bibles, one large, one small, and what mother would not mind if her child prefers the Bible with footnotes? It warmed my heart. Some of that sassy daughter in the drama hit a little close to home. Thankfully they have reached the age to be over (most of) that. And in case you didn't believe me about the best sushi buffet ever in Reading, here is a picture. I sure would like to move there, sigh.
